Stockholm has an endless variety of amusements and attractions. When it suits your game schedule, you should take the opportunity to experience the capital when it's at it´s top; in the summer.

Below is a list of fun activities that you can discover during the cupdays, all of which are also free! (At least for young people; see links for what applies to adults).

Flatenbadet (beach)
A child friendly and nice beach in Skarpnäck with a pier, changing facilities, toilets, kiosk and dining.

Smedsuddsbadet (beach)
Smedsuddsbadet is located in a bay of Riddarfjärden. Here you will find a beach, large lawn and jetty with stairs. A small parking lot is located in front of the entrance. A walkway goes along the beach.

Fredhällsbadet (beach)
Fredhällsbadet is a rocky beach with bridges and is fenced by a building and a shelf. Inside the area there is a smaller lawn and a wooden deck. Down to the water itself leads stairs.

Vasamuseet (old war ship museum)
The Vasa ship quarreled and sank in Stockholm in 1628. After 333 years, the great war ship was saved and the journey could continue. Today, Vasa is the world's only preserved 1600s ship and the Vasamuseet is the most visited museum in Scandinavia.

Naturhistoriska riksmuseet (the Swedish museum of natural history)
Just north of Stockholm is a fantastic museum for those who are interested in history. There is also Cosmonova with incredible movie experiences in the world's largest film format (entry to the movies).

Riksidrottsmuseet (sports museum)
Why not take a look at sports history? Visit our fun and moving exhibition SportLab, which is highly appreciated by children and adolescents. In the exhibition you can try how it feels like when you move - dizzying and lovely or boring and laborious? Listen to sounds from the world of sports, try the climbing wall, watch athletes in motion and feel different materials in clothes and sports equipment.

Historiska Museet (the Swedish history museum)
The historic museum is one of Sweden's largest museums. Every year, 10 000 visitors from Sweden and the rest of the world come to watch one of the world's largest Viking exhibitions, Sweden's most beautiful gold and silver treasures, unbelieveable medieval art and world-class finds from one of Sweden's most violent battles - the Battle of Gotland 1361.

Medeltidsmuseet (the Medieval museum)
The museum depicts the city's origin and medieval development. The medieval museum is an underground museum that is built around three permanent ancient monuments. They were excavated at the Great Archaeological Survey in 1978-1980.
